Love at Last Sight: Season 4

The Colour of Love

You catch me when I’m falling
You breathe on me at night
You hold me when I’m calling
You make sure I’m alright
And when my world is fading
Upon the canvas of the sky
You paint my life Your colour
The colours of Your love

The colours of love are green, the colours of the meadow
The colours of love are blue, the colours of the sea
The colours of love are seen, in every colour of the rainbow
It’s the colour of your love, Seen in the colour of your blood

Red and Yellow, Black and White
They are precious in Your sight
Colourblind, the cross is colourblind

You paint my life with colour
And It’s the colour of your love
Seen in the colour of your blood

Judging by the applause, you might have thought that Homer Simpson just sang a solo.

After that we discussed the word that comes and goes and then sometimes ends in a condom. Like a JAMB multiple choice question with confusing answers, we reasoned to rule out distracters. What love is not helps us appreciate what love is. We used all our lifelines- asked the audience, phoned friends, tried a 50-50- but still could not come up with a million dollar answer from our options.
